One person has died and another is hospitalized in critical condition after a motorcycle crash on Interurban Road at Northwest 128th Street.
The name of the deceased rider had yet to be released as of press time.
According to the Kansas City Police Department, two motorcycles were traveling together northbound on Interurban at about 3:45 a.m. Sunday, July 26 when the driver of a Honda CVR motorcycle lost control of the bike on a curve and struck the Harley-Davidson it was traveling with. Both drivers were thrown from their motorcycles. The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither were wearing helmets.
