According to court documents, the victim — a 56-year-old white male from Platte County — was walking home from a friend’s house when the suspect approached him driving a red Pontiac, according to a probable cause statement associated with the felony assault charge. McHudson allegedly got out of the car and grabbed the victim and forced him into the rear passenger seat of the vehicle.

Another unknown black male in the rear of the car wrapped one arm around the victim’s neck, pressed a handgun to the victim’s head and said, “Don’t move or I’ll kill you,” according to the court documents.

McHudson told the victim to point out his house, which the victim did. The two suspects then parked the car outside of the victim’s home.

According to court documents, one of the black males in the back seat opened the door, grabbed the victim out of the car and put a gun to his back and forced him into the residence. The victim opened that front door and went upstairs with two unknown black males and McHudson following.

One of the males pointed another resident who was sleeping on a couch in the living room while another suspect demanded money.

The mother of the victim was in the kitchen and heard them coming into the home and grabbed her purse and walked toward McHudson in the living room.He allegedly put his handgun to the mother’s stomach and took the purse from her.

The owner of the residence and the victim’s father heard the commotion in the living room and pushed back a sheet that was covering his door frame. One of the assailants fired several shots and struck the father causing life-threatening wounds.

After the shooting, McHudson and the two unknown suspects fled from the residence with the mother’s purse. The residents called 911, and operators advised them to make sure the front door was unlocked.

Upon checking the door, one of the residents found a billfold on the landing with an identification for McHudson inside.

One of the residents is familiar with McHudson due to a previous case involving the suspect’s brother. The victim reported receiving a threatening phone call several months ago from one of McHudson’s family members stating they were looking for him.

The gunshot wound victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The Platte County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for any information on the whereabouts of McHudson. According to a press release, he may be driving a maroon four-door 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix with a temporary license plate.
