Three new faces were elected to the board of trustees for the Platte County Health Department in the Tuesday, April 4 election.
Michael Shafe, Susan Cole and Kim Swaney won seats on the board.
In ballot order, the eight candidates on the ballot were Michael Shafe, 4,747 votes; Susan Cole, 4,091 votes; Kim Swaney, 3,830 votes; Steven Hoeger, 2,375 votes; Karen E. Payne, 3,010 votes; incumbent Paula Willmarth, 2,412 votes; Marygold Fry, 1,252 votes; and Brandi Moritz, 1,302 votes.
Current board members Cathy Hill and Kathy Wright chose not to run for re-election.
