Park Hill 2034 moves forward

The Park Hill School District continues to move forward with its Park Hill 2034 strategic plan.

Kevin Nelson and Lana Thorpe from Hollis and Miller last week updated the Board of Education on the current status of Park Hill 2034.

A public open house focused on draft proposals will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at Park Hill South, Room A107/117.

After hosting numerous community meetings and staff chats and gathering input from the Board of Education, Park Hill 2034 will soon be moving into its final phase. Five draft concepts have been created and an online forum to review and discuss the five concepts is now live. Members of the Park Hill community are encouraged to view the concepts and share their ideas, comments and questions. The forum is open at parkhilllistens.com/ph2034onlineforum through May 8.

Park Hill 2034 involves decisions around facilities, classrooms and school space, technology and how students and staff use school space. These decisions are being made in unison with Park Hill staff, families and community, involving these partners throughout the process.

In addition, the Park Hill 2034 Team, a team of involved and connected parents, staff and community members, has helped guide decisions and feedback opportunities throughout the planning process.
