Hillcrest Platte County (HPC) welcomed community members, partners, and supporters on April 24 for the official ribbon cutting and open house of the new Hunter L. Burch Center, located at 6600 NW Tower Drive, Suite 104 in Platte Woods.
The event saw a strong turnout from the community, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting individuals and families in need across Platte County. Attendees gathered for a time of connection, celebration, and a deeper look into the mission of Hillcrest Platte County.
During the event, HPC leaders shared the heart behind the new space, including the purpose of the Counseling Center and the role it will play in providing compassionate, holistic care. The Burch Center will serve as a dedicated hub for HPC counseling services and administrative offices, expanding the organization’s ability to walk alongside those navigating difficult seasons.
Guests had the opportunity to tour the new facility, engage with staff, and learn more about the programs and services offered through HPC. Light refreshments were provided as attendees connected and celebrated this meaningful milestone together.
“This space represents continued growth in how we serve our community,” said Donice Mahan, executive director. “We are grateful for the support of the Burch Family and others in the community who made this possible and look forward to the impact this center will have on the lives of those we serve.”
