Silver alert issued for Platte City man

Last week the Platte City Police Department issued a Silver Alert for a local man who went missing in Gladstone about a month ago. 

Richard Charles Hollman, 74, was last seen on Sept. 16 at North Prospect and Northwest 73rd Terrace in Gladstone. Hollman is about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 235 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He was driving a beige 2009 Lexus RX5, license plate number VG6ZS. 

Hollman has not picked up his medication and not contacted family or returned to his home. He maybe suffering from a head injury and memory issues. 

Anyone with information on Hollman is urged to call 911 or to call the Platte City Police Department at 858-5150.
