OZARK — The Platte County baseball team finished third in Class 5, capturing a state trophy for the third time since 2022.
The Pirates lost to Willard, the eventual state champions, 10-0 on June 5. They bounced back to win the third-place game 9-3 over Chaminade on June 6.
