JEFFERSON CITY — The 100th MSHSAA Track and Field Championship were held May 29-30 on Licklider Track at Jefferson City High School.
Inclement weather forced nearly all events to be abbreviated as local standouts from Platte County’s area Class 5 high schools faced the best competition in Missouri. While some faltered on the big stage, others embraced it with Simon Ketter (Park Hill South) and Nikyah Chappell (Park Hill) both winning individual state titles.
