Hillcrest Hosts Thrifty Wedding Show

The Hillcrest Thrift Shop will hold its bridal show from 1-3:30 p.m. May 4 at 1305 Branch Street in Platte City. Advance tickets cost $10 and may be obtained by calling Anna Marie at 858-7717. Limited tickets will be available at the door for $15. Refreshments will be served. Gift bags of a $150 value will be given to the first 25 shoppers and more than 50 gowns under $150 will be available. The show will include inexpensive decorating ideas, giveaways and raffles and information on rentals, dining, cakes, hair styling, photographers and more.
