Contributed photos The above still images from security camera footage show a white male suspect suspected of recently passing counterfeit bills at Casey’s General Store (above) and Price Chopper (right) in Platte City.

Both white males, the suspects vary in description. One, suspected in incidents reported at Casey’s General Store and Price Chopper, is a white male with short hair, as shown in surveillance video stills. On July 5, the man used a counterfeit $50 bill to pay for two slices of pizza and a drink at Casey’s General Store. The man was described as having a tattoo on his neck.

On July 11, the same white male used two counterfeit $50 bills to purchase two $50 gift cards at Price Chopper.

Also on July 11, a suspect passed a counterfeit $20 bill at the drive-through of the Platte City Sonic restaurant. The suspect was described as a white male in his 60s or 70s with long white hair and a white beard. He was seen in surveillance video driving an early 2000s model extended cab silver Toyota Tacoma with Missouri license plates.
