The Kansas City Metro Squad has been activated to assist the City of Riverside in a homicide investigation.
The suspicious death first announced under investigation on Thursday, April 9 was confirmed as a homicide on Monday, April 13.
The victim was identified as Conrado “Conrad” Mendez of Kansas City. Police were called to the 4300 block of Tullison Road around 8:30 a.m. April 9 to investigate a possible dead body. Riverside police located a deceased adult male off the roadway in a small wooded area.
