Park Hill South athletes make commitments to colleges

On Nov. 15, eight Park Hill South athletes took a large step in continuing their athletic careers by committing to where they will be playing their respected sports in college.

Mudia Rueben made an impact on the Panther football team this fall and had multiple Division-1 offers. The senior wide receiver has committed to Stanford University for next fall.

Keegan Good had an impressive senior campaign in volleyball, earning all-conference and all-district honors, but the Panther will be extending her athletic career in soccer. After helping lead Park Hill South to the Class 4 State Quarterfinals last season, Good has decided that she will be lacing up her cleats at the University of Missouri in 2022.

Alec Enyeart made a splash in his Park Hill South swimming career, with multiple state appearances. Enyeart will be headed more than 700 miles south to swim for the Longhorns at the University of Texas. 

Park Hill South had nine senior athletes, above, announce where they are committing to continue their academic and athletic careers at on Nov. 15.

Annabelle Winters and Jolie McMinn have both left an imprint on the Park Hill South softball program during their careers and will continue playing with different college programs. Winters will be attending the University of North Dakota and McMinn will stay closer than her Panther teammate as she will be suiting up for the Lions at Lindenwood University.

After making individual state appearances this fall in tennis and golf, Sydney Dial and Abby Ervin were two of the eight Panther signees.  Sydney Dial will be playing tennis at Truman State University and Ervin will be playing golf at the University of Mobile.

Alexandra Dvorak led the Park Hill South volleyball team to an undefeated conference title this fall en route to grabbing the attention of William Jewell College. The middle hitter will be trading the Panther purple and black for Cardinal red and black next year. 

The last Park Hill South athlete to participate on signing day was Noah Reuscher. The Panther senior will continue his soccer career at Benedictine College.
