Platte County Fair queen candidates announced

The 2019 Platte County Fair Queen candidates, from left, Lydia Davis, 18, Weston; Madison Hicks, 17, Platte City; Kathryn Layton, 17, Weston; Madelynne Sharp, 17, Platte City; Kelsie Westcott, 18, Platte City; and Abygale White, 19, Platte City. The queen contest will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, the opening day of the fair.
