On Jan. 30, 2016, the North Platte Panthers boys basketball team slayed the Mid-Buchanan Dragons to win the North Platte Invitational. Just a day after the 10-year anniversary of the Panthers’ 2016 title, the Panthers finally reclaimed the tournament title.
