Family and friends of Elijah Boaz Johnson, 29, are hoping to raise awareness of his disappearance. Johnson was last seen on Aug. 31.

His car was found at the Green Hills of Platte Wildlife Preserve in Parkville, but no sign of him was found. He left a detailed suicide note. Police notified his parents of this on Sept. 1. His Facebook account was deactivated and he left his bank cards and phone behind.
Johnson is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He is Black, with black hair (currently worn short) and brown eyes. He wears dentures and has several tattoos on his arm.
